Peanut Butter Bacon Sandwich

Tip: Alternatively grill chicken breasts instead of beef patties.
Ingredients:
• Pre-formed beef burger patties 300g and 12 rashers rindless streaky bacon
• 4 fresh hamburger bread rolls, sliced and lightly toasted Lettuce, for topping
• 1 red onion, sliced for topping .
• BBQ Peanut Butter sauce:
• 1/3 cup Black Cat Smooth Peanut Butter
• 2/3 cup tomato sauce
• 2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
• 1/2 tsp paprika
• 1/2 tsp mustard powder
• 1/2 tsp chilli powder
Method
- In a bowl, combine all the BBQ Peanut Butter sauce ingredients and set aside.
- Heat an oiled griddle pan on a medium-high heat, lightly coat the burger patties in olive oil and cook for 3 or 4 minutes on each side or to your liking.
- Fry the bacon over a medium heat until crispy.
- Build the burgers by layering each toasted roll with lettuce, red onion and a beef patty, then generously spread BBQ peanut butter sauce on the warm patty and top with crispy bacon.
